Part P3568 Stemma Py Qt Connector Does Not Fit Py Qt?

Post by oaj61 »

https://www.adafruit.com/product/3568 advertises this cable connects the Py Qt stemma boards, it does not. P3568 is at least twice as large as the socket. Working on a low cost battery operated long life temperature logger proto-type for science fairs and need to chain up stemma RTC and temp logger unit. Any suggestions for modifying P3568 to work with the QT Py SAMD21 in my order from digikey, or am I out of luck. Thanks for your help, love your videos.

Part 3568 is a 4-pin JST-PH cable which works with the larger (pre-QT) STEMMA/I2C connectors such as found on the PyPortal, MonsterM4SK and other boards. For STEMMA-QT boards/connectors you'll need these https://www.adafruit.com/product/4399. The product page makes no claims about it being STEMMA-QT compatible.
