Hi, I'm part of an astronomy and science summer camp team and we're considering using Sparki for an afternoon activity simulating some of the challenges with working with remote rovers on other planets like Mars. My question has to do with time-frame. How much time would a group of students age 12-14 need to build the robot and program it to navigate a simple obstacle course using the edge detectors, etc? Is this a couple of hours, a half-day or a full day kind of thing? Thanks!
Doug

The robot works out-of-the box. The manufacturer has a full set of tutorials and example code for programming lots of different functions into Sparki:
