Re: RE: Running Some Software and Making My BBB Go/Seth
Sir...
By the way, I am working from a book on this project. The book name is "30 Beaglebone Black Projects for the Evil Genius." The book was typed up when Angstrom was the Distro.
Seth
P.S. If you need any other info. from me, please just let me know. Thank you.

I was able to reproduce that error. I've raised this issue on the github repo for bonescript:
https://github.com/jadonk/bonescript/issues/144
I'll followup here when there is an update.

Re: RE: Running Some Software and Making My BBB Go/Seth
Mr. Drew,
Seth here. The person that typed up that book updated some stuff on his github.com page for Debian. His old work was all done with Angstrom. I am going to check it out and get back to you.
Seth
P.S. I saw that Google page about the Beaglebone stuff. You are a moderator on there. I am Mala on there. Okay...so. I will get back to you.

Re: RE: Running Some Software and Making My BBB Go/Seth
Okay Drew,
This is what I have done so far...
- I had run the software in PuTTY.
- I had run the software on Cloud9 IDE, too.
- I ran the updated software for Debian on both environments.
I have come up with the exact, syntax replicas in both environments, i.e. with the older software and with the updated software. So, I get a specific, syntax error for PuTTY and another totally different syntax error for the Cloud9 IDE.
Seth
P.S. I ran the software as root and I ran it via Cloud9. I hope this helps some.

Re: RE: Running Some Software and Making My BBB Go/Seth
What is the URL for the GitHub repo that you are using?
I'd recommend opening up an issue for this error in that repo by author.
There's been to reply to the bonescript repo issue that I created:
https://github.com/jadonk/bonescript/issues/144
I'd also suggest that you post this error on the mailing list for beaglebone and beagleboard:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/beagleboard

Re: RE: Running Some Software and Making My BBB Go/Seth
Hello,
Project16.js and Project16.html are the two software examples I am trying out. Here they are: https://github.com/ChristopherRush/BB-Evil-Genius.
Seth
P.S. I will post on those sites and see what I come up with. Oh and if you want me to reply with what transpires, please let me know. I attempted to chat with Mr. Rush on GitHub.com and it worked. He replied.
