Hello,

Can I still find this page useful when updating info. on my system w/ apt: https://learn.adafruit.com/setting-up-i ... -on-ubuntu?

I was wondering. I get a lot of extra libraries/modules when I use this cmd: sudo apt-get install build-essential python-dev python-setuptools python-pip python-smbus -y.

From the Adafruit_BBIO README, you can install with these commands:
Code: Select all | TOGGLE FULL SIZE
sudo ntpdate pool.ntp.org
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install build-essential python-dev python-pip -y
sudo pip install Adafruit_BBIO

Upgrade Adafruit_BBIO to latest version on PyPI:
Code: Select all | TOGGLE FULL SIZE
sudo pip install --upgrade Adafruit_BBIO

Hello,

I understand. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will use the GitHub.com repo instead of using the Adafruit.com tutorial on this specific thing.

Seth

P.S. Thank you again.
