I have a beaglebone connected via usb to my Mac (OSX Lion). For some reason the Mac is no longer mounting the beaglebone as an external drive. The Mac complained about unsafe removal after a few times I did a reboot. Any thoughts as to what could be the problem. Should I try running diskutil in the Mac?

Re: Mac no longer recognizes beagle bone as drive
A couple of questions:
1) Where do I get the angstrom image that Adafruit uses? I am going to try start fresh and see if that is the problem with the USB Hub in the BB.
2) Are there messages in dmesg that would indicate that the USB Hub is malfunctioning?
3) Are there any diags that I can run for the USB Hub?
BTW, my suspicion is that the wifi nub that Adafruit sells fried the BB USB Hub. Anybody else had this problem?
Thanks,
tgalonso

...and the plot thickens, from checking the beaglebone forums it looks like the *.14 version of Angstrom does not like the USB hub on the BB. Reimaging the SD tonight with *.12 and seeing if that fixes the problems. I will post with my results.

Re: Mac no longer recognizes beagle bone as drive
going back to the A5 Angstrom image worked. Be careful if you run opkg upgrade!
