Where ist GND on DC & Stepper Motor Bonnet?

by anfi on Sun Feb 23, 2020 4:12 am

I run a DC Motor on M1 terminal on a motor bonnet. Works wonderful.

I now have to attach additional hardware. All GPIO I need I see on the „pin strip“ on the bonnet, except GND. I just see GND at the two terminals, but I thinks that is not the correct GND I need?

All the grounds are connected to the same ground plane. So you can use any of them.

I'm very sorry, but I don't understand "ground plane".
I'm not a native englisch speaker, so please excuse me...

The ground plane is the ground for the entire board. All of the ground pins are connected to it.

I'm very sorry again, I do not see any GND pin on the entire bonnet.
This is my problem. I'm looking for GND Pin on the bonnet.
All GND pins on the raspberry are blocked by the bonnet what is attached to the Raspberry.

You have an orange wire connected to one of the labeled grounds between M3 and M4. There is another labeled GND between M1 and M2. The '-' connection on the motor power terminal is also connected to GND.
