Rpi o0 on battery?

Post by AdaStefan »

Can a Rpi0 run on a 3.7V LiPo battery? or does it require 5V?
Thanks!

Hello!

It requires 5V, but there are many boost converters out there that can give you 5V from the 3.7V LiPo.

I have used this one on a few projects and it's worked for me: https://www.adafruit.com/product/2465

Make sure your battery is capable of handling the charge/discharge current before using those boost converters though.
