Hi all,
I just got my Adafruit PiOLED - 128x32 Monochrome OLED Add-on for Raspberry Pi in the mail and attached it to my Pi zero and it doesn't seem to work or display anything.
I already had Pi hole set up and just wanted to display the stats for it. I went through this https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-pio ... y-pi/usage and it even sees it plugged in but doesn't display anything even with the tests.
Would I be able to get a replacement to see if it is just a faulty unit? I don't see any physical damage but it just doesn't seem to light up at all.
Thank you,
PiOLED Doesn't seem to display

Re: PiOLED Doesn't seem to display
The tests shown won't display anything. You'll need to run the stats.py program to see something on the OLED.

sorry, I should've have put that as well. I did try running two stats.py files. When ran either one doesn't populate anything on the OLED screen.

The oldstats.py appears to be the example from the guide. Does it run without errors?

I believe so. It just sits at blank screen after I hit enter.

Hmm. Yah. Looks like it's running OK.
Is that a Pi Zero WH? Or did you have to solder on the headers yourself?

Re: PiOLED Doesn't seem to display
Correct pi zero WH. The header came with it. Didn’t have to do any sodering. I powered off the pi then plugged the oled in the top left most pins. Then powered the pi back up.

Re: PiOLED Doesn't seem to display
OK, let's just replace it. Not sure what's happening. But looks like everything has been setup correctly and running that script should produce some output of the OLED (or errors is something else is happening).
Send an email to [email protected] with a link to this thread and your order number and they can send you a replacement PiOLED.
