Raspberry Pi Keyboard 400 doesn't boot Moderators: adafruit_support_bill, adafruit

I have a 5.1V 3A adapter, and Sandisk microSD. I plug in the pi keyboard, and the light comes on solid. I try with the SD card and the latest software, same result. Attempted EEPROM push, receive regular blinking light almost immediately after plugging in. No output on either HDMI. Can I get this returned and a new working one shipped? Order #2744363-9092395837. Can you clarify what "latest software" used is? Is that a Raspberry Pi OS image installed using the Raspberry Pi Imager?

If so, which specific OS version were you trying to boot with?

I used the Raspberry Pi Imager v1.6.2, and selected Raspberry Pi OS (32-bit). It works fine on other Pi's.

Describe the blinking light please. Doest it blink some number of times and stop, or continue blinking endlessly?

The SD card holder on a Pi 400 is click lock, not friction fit. If your not aware of this you could think the card is in when its actually not.

Thanks, I am aware of the click-lock. The light is on solid, no blinking. If I try to restore the EEPROM, it blinks rapidly almost immediately after power on.

It's been 16 days, I really would like to get this replaced so I can put it to use. Is there anything else you need me to do?

This is a bit different than similar issues (the LED activity) but seems close.

Please email support@adafruit.com with a link to this thread, your order number, and request the replacement of one Raspberry Pi 400.
