when I run this command:
curl -SLs https://apt.adafruit.com/add-pin | sudo bash
I get GPG error: http://apt.adafruit.com/raspbian wheezy InRelease: The following signatures were invalid: 58A1FE78D61C7C13E28B92A7C24E6D5378661FA5
The repository "http://apt.adafruit.com/raspbian wheezy InRelease is not signed
Data from such a repository can't be authenticated and is therefore potentially dangerous to use
How do I change security so this will run?
I purchased PID#2441 via Order #1539909-2055893015
Order Date: September 9, 2017 attempting to use with Raspberry Pi 3 with nothing else attached
getting started

Resolved the startup problem by using this image: 2016-11-08-pitft-35r
Rather than going through the other process

Re: getting started
Yeah, Wheezy is officially deprecated by the RasPi Foundation, so updating at least to Jessie is the best solution.

Re: getting started
I am an Adafruit customer with a question about PID: 3055 (Raspberry Pi 3) which I have not yet purchased because I need help. I have several items in my cart and my question has to do with whether when I connect the RPi3 to a TV with HDMI and then power it up, how will it connect to the internet? I will be downloading the free Kano OS for my son. I will be purchasing the items below. Am I missing anything? How will he connect to the internet?
Raspberry Pi 3
HDMI cable
Aluminum heat sink
5V 2.4A switching power supply
Pi 3 Case
Wireless keyboard and mouse (is there a full sized keyboard that I can purchase that works with RPi3 which won't require switching to root user to use it? A bit advanced for this accountant and my 8 year old?).
MicroSD card to download Kano OS (if I'm downloading Kano OS, I don't need NOOBS, correct?)
Kind regards,
RD

Re: getting started
The HDMI connection doesn’t have anything to do with the internet connection.
The Pi3 has a built-in Wifi module, so you can connect that to your home network like a tablet or any desktop computer that uses Wifi.
The folks at Kano will be able to give you more up-to-date information about setting up a Wifi connection on their OS:
