Hello,
My HDMI display was working great... until it suddenly wasn't! I have edited the /boot/config.txt file to set the proper resolution. I checked the ribbon on the back (see picture) but it seems fine - except being a little bent - but since it arrived like that I figured it wasn't the problem. The display does not work when plugged into RPi zero or when plugged into my laptop. The blue light indicating "Video - Good" does not turn on.
Thanks for your help in advance!

Hello! I'm using RPi as part of an international field research project and some of our data is dependent on being able to use this screen. I'm really looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I purchased the display in September, 2017.

Any suggestions? I spent a lot of money on equipment from adafruit and regretfully I can't use any of it without the screen. I'll be stateside at the end of November for a couple days, so if I need a replacement, I need to know soon! Thank you.

Sorry for the delay.
It looks like you were near the end of the 30-day return/replace period when you made your original post, so we can issue a replacement.
Send a note containing a link to this thread and your order number to [email protected]. The folks there will get you another 7" display.

Hey guys,
I'm not sure what's happening, but I'm having the same issue with the replacement screen you sent me. I've tried plugging it into a number of different RPi's and into my laptop and no response!
Any ideas?

Having two displays fail in a row is pretty unusual.
Try swapping in another HDMI cable and see if that has any effect.
