I also tried some commands I found in the forum after searching for "SPI, ILI9341" and found an interesting post. The output of the command:

gives me this, which does not show ILI93421 anywhere. (I tried doing, ">subo modprobe fbtft_device name=pitftt", which cause the TFT screen to flicker, but doesn't show the desktop).
