I am having an issue with the Cyberdeck hat. I have it hooked into a Raspberry Pi 400 and a Hyperpixel 4 through GPIO. Whenever I boot up the Pi, the Hyperpixel backlight comes on, then the screen will show the desktop for a few seconds, then only the backlight will be on and the screen will be blank. When I hook the Hyperpixel directly into the GPIO I don't have any issues.

Have a close look at the soldering on the male header (where the screen is plugged onto. You're looking for any of those surface-mount tabes having broken away from the circuit board.

Do you have any other hats you could try the deck with? Does jiggling the display change anything? How does the soldering on the female connector look?

Since the display works when plugged in directly and there's very little other than connectoprs on the cyberdeck, my thought is that there's a soldering issue somewhere. Another possibility is a problem with a trace. is there any scuff/scrape damage?

I do not have any other hats to plug it into. Jiggling the display does not change anything and there doesn't appear to be any scrapes or improperly soldered areas.
