Zero W video cast directly to phone without router.
If I'm asking this is in the wrong place, then please move it. Is there a way to cast zero w video directly to a cell phone? No router, no wires, just a network consisting of those two devices? I'm just beginning with raspberry so I'm a little lost.

Re: Zero W video cast directly to phone without router.
The RasPi Zero-W has built-in Wifi, and you can configure it to work as a Wifi access point. There's also video streaming software that would work once a phone has connected to the Zero-W.
This page from the RasPi Foundation has information about configuring a RasPi as a Wifi access point:
https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentati ... -routed.md
We don't have any information or suggestions about streaming video though.
