Hi, I'm looking to use RPi 3b+ with a SIM card to do some simply SMS sending and receiving.
I noticed that there are many options. Could someone at Adafruit with more knowledge recommend one for me that's update to date and easy to work with? Thanks.

There are lots of options.
Our FONA 3G should work with most networks:

The 2G versions still work with some networks, but 2G support is getting spotty.
