Hello,
I am following this tutorial (https://learn.adafruit.com/running-tens ... play-setup) but I have a 7" screen (not touch screen) hooked up to my Raspberry Pi.
Can I skip this part or do I have to do something else?

If you are not going to use the display on the BrainCraft Hat at all then you can skip the adafruit-pitft.py script which sets up the display. Your 7" if it is connected via HDMI will just work.
