I originally had this system working as a Console display on the PiTFT (and that took many iterations to get working properly), but I wanted the tiny display to mirror the HDMI output, so I attempted to change it, and have been kicking myself in the butt since then.
My latest installation attempt is as follows:
- Installed the latest release of Raspberry Pi OS (32-bit) (released 2021-05-07).
Raspberry Pi 400 booted up.
Completed initial setup - location, password, black border, internet
Installed updates.
Rebooted.
pip3 software package installer upgraded
confirmed Python 3
Installed PCF8591 Python Library
downloaded Sonic Pi .deb
sudo apt update
Installed Sonic Pi via Console
Installed Python OSC
Ran PiTFT installer script
cd ~/Raspberry-Pi-Installer-Scripts
Ran command for Interactive Installation
- 4 - PiTFT 3.5" resistive touch (480x320)
- 1 - 90 degrees rotation
- console - n
- mirror - y
Rebooting...
FAIL... same 4 trippy screens and nothing on the Cyberdeck screen
I cannot figure out why this will not work and I am out of ideas. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
