e-ink raspberry pi bonnet for qt2040

Post by 70m »

Does anyone know if the 2.13" eink bonnet for raspberry pi can connect directory to the qt py 2040 over STEMMA qt? Or does it only work on the raspberry pi via the gpio pins?

That QT connector on this display is just for sensors to use i2c. The display itself is setup for SPI so it needs a Raspberry Pi for power and to drive the SPI bus.

is there a way to connect any e-ink display over a cable to the QT pi / Trinkey without the need for GPIO pins or soldering?

The QtPy and Trinkey do not have solder free e-ink connectivity options.

There are however many solder free options for an e-ink display using other products we sell.
