Can't get the script to install the "Adafruit PiTFT 3.5" Touch Screen for Raspberry
I get to the part where I pick what size screen (35r), and orientation (270).
But then I get this error after the first two PITFT commands run.
Here is what is on the command line interface:
PITFI Checking init system...
Found systemd
/boot is mounted
PITFI System Update
Updating apt indexes...............
PITFT Apt failed to update indexes! <<<<<fails here!!!!!!
~/Rasberry-Pi-Installer-Scripts $ <<<<<back to command line
NOTE: I am running Octopi (for a 3D printer) 3B+ board, and wanted to add the Touch Screen running the "TouchUI" plugin.
Any clues on how to get past this, so I can use the screen?
I did/have followed the install instructions on your website for the PiTFT 3.

May be Octoprint related.
Does it work OK using Raspberry Pi OS?

You'll need to start with Raspberry Pi OS or Raspberry Pi OS Lite.

Re: Can't get the script to install the "Adafruit PiTFT 3.5"
well, I need the Octopi since it runs the 3D printer,
If I did load those images, and then tried to upgrade to Octopi,
it would again fail since the octopi is an image as well.
Again, the octopi is dedicated to/for a printer.
Is there anyway somebody on the ada team could look in to this?
there are many in the 3D world that used the Octopi, and they could
all use a local display for local machine ops.
thanks for your time, if you can help, or someone can help,
I am sure it is just some kind of "Script" issue, but again my Octopi
is on python2, but I upgraded the "git" to python 3 (I think), since it was
part of the install script from your website.
NOTE: I am NOT any kind of Raspberry guru, just use them for the printing.
