PI Eye partial eye on HDMI

Post by nl28382 »

I just installed the Pi eye software o a Pi3B with an Adafruit 5" HDMI display. However, only 2/3rd of the eye is visible (the eye is not centered).

config.txt is set to group = 2 mode=87, cvt = 800 480 60 6 0 0 0 .

Any suggestions to center the eye image?

Found the issue.

There was a second section of HDMI config at the bottom of the config.txt file that re-set the HDMI resolution to 640 by 480 under "NOOBS Auto=Generate Setting". I commented this out and now get a centered eye.
