I have put all the pieces together -- RPi3B+, Adafruit eyes and bonnet. But all I get is grey snow on the displays and the message "Can't open primary display" on the terminal.
I have followed the instructions (*), using .
I have carefully checked all the solder joints.
I have connected the 11 TFT pins on the bonnet, being careful to connect Vin to Vin and Lite to Lite, and leaving the 12th "TE" pin unconnected.
I have booted the RPi with Raspberry Pi OS Lite release 2021-10-30
I have installed the software, choosing displays "IPS TFT", without GPIO, with ADC pins.
See attached image.
Thank you!

Re: Eyes Bonnet: Can't open primary display
I installed the Snake Eyes Bonnet recently and this configuration worked for me on the 3B+:
- Raspberry Pi OS Lite - Buster - http://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspio ... 021-05-28/
- Bumping up the GPU memory to 128MB or higher
