Pi zero case doesn’t fit zero wh

Post by troi »

Hi. Same problem as a poster from last month reported. I haven’t tried more than jiggling things around, but I can’t get more than two posts to line up. Package arrived fine and I see no obvious damage to anything. I can get a picture when I’m at my desktop, but the best fit I got, one that let the clear top kinda close, has the back two mounting holes off the pins and the ports on the side are very out of line with the case.

@troi,

The Adafruit Raspberry Pi Zero Case #3252 fits all the Pi Zero models. You watch the video for Ladyada snapping one in.

Thanks for the pointer. It was still a challenge and the only way I could get stuff to seat without bowing the case was to clip the top of the post that sits under the pinouts at the back of the case. I don't know if there was excess material there or not, it looked cleanly molded to me.

I'm in business now, thanks!

These cases are designed for pressure fit. I too get nervous having to use a lot of force, but these enclosures do a great job of protecting the PCBs once locked in.
