I am trying to get this screen to work with BULLSEYE.
I have added "dtoverlay=pitft35-resistive,drm" to /boot/config.txt. so it boots OK BUT the screen is orientated by 90degs.
I have tried "dtoverlay=pitft35-resistive,drm,rotate=90" but just get a blank screen.
I have tried Preferences...screen orientation LEFT but get the following..
"This orientation is not possible here. A part of an output is outside the virtual screen"
I have also tried display_rotate=3 in /boot/config.txt, but no effect.
Any idea how to fix it ?
Thanks

Try removing the 'drm' and see if that makes any difference.

That's clearly the newest version, thank you.
What options did you choose when you ran the PiTFT setup script?

I didn't use your install routine as your website says...
"The latest Raspberry Pi Bullseye release is new and may have issues with the PiTFT. In that case, you can try the previous buster release."
I tried the "dtoverlay=pitft35-resistive,drm" which works BUT is 90degs out.

I have now tried both of your installation methods on your website, Easy Single and Interactive (options 4 then 3) and both boot to a console, with a prompt of pi@raspberrypi:~ $ but no GUI. Trying startx just locks up the Pi.

It appears we need to wait for the dtoverlay to be updated for rotation...
