Re: How to connect Raspberry Pi to the computer without HDMI
Your lab does not use monitors with HDMI cables?
The Pi 400 has two micro HDMI connectors. You can use any monitor that has HDMI assuming you have a micro HDMI to HDMI cable or adapter.
If you really want to plug the Pi 400 directly into another PC via USB and access it over serial console that can be done using "gadget" mode.

Probably the easiest is to setup your Pi for headless VNC access and use the WiFi to remotely connect.
