3v3 to %v and 5V to 3v3 for RPi GPIO

Post by bonzadog »

Hello,

What is the best was to convert 3v3 to 5v and vice-versa for the RPi.

I assume I must use a buffer using its own power supply when converting to 3v3 to 5V - since the current output of the GPIO is rather limited should I want a higher current.

Any tips for me....I would like ideally a built and tested HW??

Many thanks

That depends on what you need it for. We have several logic level shifters for various types of signals: https://www.adafruit.com/category/864
And there are voltage boosters and voltage regulators for power applications: https://www.adafruit.com/category/139
