Greetings!
Ref: Adafruit Gemma M0 schematic (Rev-D)
In the upper right hand corner of this schematic the micro-USB connector is shown as X2. Examining this connector, I see *five* pins called-out:
VBUS (+5 in from USB)
D+ (Data, positive phase for balanced pair)
D- (Data, negative phase for balanced pair)
GND (Power return)
Plus, a fifth pin called "ID" - which is not connected to anything.
=================================
OK, maybe I'm a back number, but I'm scratching my head. With the specific exception of USB-3.n, I have never seen anything except four pins in a USB connector.
I'm puzzled and I'd appreciate any enlightenment all you Evil Geniuses can provide (grin!)
Thanks!
Jim "JR"
