Glue to front of Neopixel?

I am making light up hats for my thesis project. I want to up-light vials with neopixels, but I am unsure if it is okay to hotglue/superglue a vial to the top of a neopixel without killing the LED. The alternative would be to stich the vial at a very specific angle to rest on the neopixel which is much more challenging.

Either could work. But I'd probably go with something like E6000 adhesive.
