HI,
May I ask if it is possible to make a Flora Wearable Bluefruit LE Module work with an Adafruit GEMMA v2?
Thanks,
Joshua

Re: Can Flora Wearable Bluefruit LE Module Work with Adafrui
It does not appear to be possible as the Gemma V2 does not seem to make Rx/Tx available on the I/O pads. The Gemma M0, on the other hand, does make Rx/Tx available and should have little trouble working with the BLE module. Plus it's not deprecated like the V2.

What's the difference between them? They look alike.

They are completely different other than the shape/size of the boards. The Gemma V2 is based on the 32u4, a slow, 8-bit microcontroller with very little memory while the M0 is build around a SAMD21 which is a fast, r32-bit MCU with much more memory. Most relevant to your question, the M0 exposes Rx/Tx which is needed to use the BLE module. From C++ they will work pretty much identically while the M0 also provides the ability to do some basic programming using CircuitPython.

Came here looking to post this exact question.dastels wrote:They are completely different other than the shape/size of the boards. Good to know I can use it on the New Gemma MO.
thanks Dave!
