Silver, Copper, Nickel, or other material in conductive tape

Post by pedalpete »

We've been using the adafruit conductive tape https://www.adafruit.com/product/3960 , and are wondering if it is safe to use directly against skin, but we haven't been able to find any details on what the materials are which make the nylon conductive. Are there any available details about that?

What is your application actually? For low voltage applications like electronic glowing cards, it is safe to use even if you touch it directly. If you are planning for something wearable, I recommend that you provide some insulation.
