Re: Flora not showing in serial ports
Thanks, @adafruit2. I submitted a replacement order. I did purchase a new USB cable and confirmed the hub and USB port are operational.

Re: Flora not showing in serial ports
Sadly I’m stumped again. I have a haptic motor attached to a vibrating disc motor and it’s unresponsive. I followed the haptic controller breakout guide. I have uploaded the code and can see the effect printout but do not have any haptic feedback. Is there some way I can troubleshoot?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Flora not showing in serial ports
My first though is that it's a bad connection somewhere.
First make sure the soldering on the motor wires where they are connected to the driver board is good.
Next I'd look at the I2C connection between the Flora and the driver. Alligator clips are fine for simple digital or analog signals but more problematic for high speed signals like I2C. Can you make the connections more solid? Even using a nut & bolt (wrapping the wire under the head of the bolt) would be an improvement if you don't want to solder to the Flora.
