Chromebook Switch access for individuals with Disabilities

by dehrhart on Fri Nov 19, 2021 3:50 am

Hi All,

Chromebooks have 3 key switch scanning (Previous, Next, Select) for individuals with disabilities

https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/10274137?hl=en#zippy=%2Cturn-on-point-scanning%2Cselect-an-item%2Cchange-point-scan-speed%2Cuse-the-action-menu

I'd like to build a switch interface for this. I've done this with a Makey Makey but that seems to be overkill with cost and size. Is the Trinket M0 the PCB I should use or will another work? Really looking forward to learning circuitpython and building custom joysticks, etc for the students I work with.

Thanks!
