Hello everyone, I'm brand new to electronics, trinkets, coding etc so bear with me. I'm starting a project building a portal gun from the show Rick and Morty and have no clue where to start. First off I have no Idea what I need to get started from scratch with my newly purchased trinket pro 5v, essentially what do I need to download on my pc in order to set up for success. My next big problem is the coding (I'm a beginner) so I need to know the basics if anyone can link me to some useful videos or sites with such info. I have included the 2 web addresses that I've used for my shopping list and guidelines. Github contains a pre-existing code written by someone else for a similar project but I'd really like to try my hand at coding so if anyone can provide tips and tricks to help me get started on my journey into coding and electronics I'd greatly appreciate any advice, encouragement etc. Thanks in advance guys and gals- Shwifty

Re: Pro trinket 5v S.O.S. (ultra-N00B)
I'd suggest starting with the Trinket Pro guide to make sure that basics work:
https://learn.adafruit.com/introducing- ... t/overview
And then try using some of the intro Arduino guides:
https://learn.adafruit.com/category/learn-arduino
as a way to get familiar with some of the basics of using external hardware.
Hopefully once you've gone through some of those, the guide you linked will be more useful to you and you can figure out how to adapt it.
