Pro trinket error while compiling

Post by marine_hm »

I plugged into a trinket that has been in use for over a year. Last time it was updated in Late July. Since then, I upgraded to IDE 1.8.4
Now I get this error while compiling:

Code: Select all

Arduino: 1.8.4 (Windows 7), Board: "Pro Trinket 5V/16MHz (USB)"

Board protrinket5 (platform avr, package adafruit) is unknown

Error compiling for board Pro Trinket 5V/16MHz (USB).

This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
option enabled in File -> Preferences.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Running the AVRdude.EXE found here: viewtopic.php?f=52&t=45541 worked.
Thanks

How do I go about editing the avrdude.conf file and change the 900000 to 400000?
