USB Connector Loose

Post by Dfitterman »

I just opened up a Pro Trinket 5V that I received yesterday and ran the blink program to see it if was working. It was.
In the process I noticed that the USB connector was loose.
It appears that connector was never soldered on the component side of the board.

Yeah, that doesn't look right. Email [email protected] with a link to this thread and your order number and they can get you a replacement.

Can you post a photo showing the soldering on the other side of the board. Wondering how you were even able to get the blink sketch to upload.

Here is a photo of the back and front side of the Pro Trinket. The USB connector was soldered on the back side, but not the front.
