Trinket M0 solid green light & not working

Post by zakwarrior »

Hello,

I've been using trinkets for a while now and i got 2 faulty ones, they just show green light and that's all
No detection on the computer
Not showing circuitpy or trinketboot using button
Just solid green light that's all

Serial numbers on the packages (don't find it on the board itself) are
VV7366-B
VV7573-B

I've been ordering these on mouser for a while now (i think over 40 units) and i tried everything i know to get these 2 running but i really think they got programmed wrong or something

So i was wondering if anyone could tell me if it's possible to program these with an external programmer since the IC is atmel ATSAMD21E18 because i don't think the board is dead, probably just a factory programming problem

If it's not possible, where can i send them back for repair or exchange please because mouser said to contact adafruit

Thanks

Do you see anything at all in the Device Manager or System Information USB pane when the boards are connected to the computer?

No not like usual, these 2 don't show up nothing at all,
They are not detected by the computer and don't have any reaction after pushing the board button, red light never turns on or never blinks

Thank you.

There are a couple of small round contact pads on the back that you can use to connect a JTAG pod if you have one,:

A programing error counts as a production defect though. Let the folks at Mouser know we’ve approved replacements for both boards.
