Pin 1 (A0) Not outputing 3.3v

by eboxhead on Wed May 08, 2019 3:59 pm

Im currently working on outputting a simple triangle wave from the Trinket, and I noticed that pin A0 never seems to go above 2.2ish volts. If I change to pretty much any other Analog pin it works fine. I've tried with both 8 and 10 bit resolution (analogWriteResolution) and I don't notice a difference. Am I possibly setting something up incorrectly?

What board are you using?

Thanks.. do you have any kind of load connected to the pin? My first guess would be current limiting.

As a side question, are you getting a triangle wave scaled down to a lower maximum voltage, or the bottom part of a 3.3V triangle wave that clips at the high end?
