In the white bubbles in the servo write pin blocks. It looks like you have 0 in the on light - dark structure, try putting 180 in the same place in the on light - bright structure. That will attempt to move the servo through what should be it's full 180 degree range. If it does, it will confirm that the servo and the Makecode library is operating as expected.

There are two demo programs here: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-circuit-playground-express/downloads. One in C++/Arduino and one in CircuitPython. One of those might be what you're looking for.

I managed to achieve what I wanted to do, thank you very much for your help.
I have a question about the battery, does the circuit playground express charge the battery automatically (micro-usb plug connected) or must the battery be disconnected and charge elsewhere.

Excellent about the success!

The circuit playground express does NOT charge the battery. This gives the flexibility to use a AA/AAA battery pack which is a little more child/classroom friendly than a LiPo.
