Hi team,
I'm looking for some ideas / assistance. I've got the Audio FX hooked up to the recommended Lipo expansion and 2w speakers. It runs great off either USB or battery. However, the volume is really quite and only audible if the room is silent. I need it to be audible over general chatter or or if a TV is on low to medium volume.
1. Is the default volume the maximum or will wiring up the volume buttons enable me to increase the output?
2. Is there anything other components I can add in to increase the volume?
I noticed there is a DC amplifier from Adafruit. I read its output can't be passed to another amplifier, but can the amplifier output from the Audio FX be passed to the DC one?
I'd rather not go that route if possible, as I want to keep it running off the Lipo battery, and I am not yet advanced enough to play with mixed voltages... this was my first project.
Thanks in advance.
