FadeCandy 1689

Post by Payne16 »

Are there any ESD requirements when soldering to the FadeCandy 1689? I work for a manufacturing company and I want to know if I have to follow ESD guidelines during our manufacturing process. Or am I ok with soldering without taking ESD precautions?

I don't see any mention of Fade Candy and ESD issues aside from one post in their forums, but that appears to be more about the WS2812B strips being particularly sensitive.

I would assume "normal" levels of precaution with the FadeCandy, but not necessarily anything more than you do when assembling other electronics.
