Adding buttons to Trinket M0 for automated keystrokes?

Post by cosmicvoyager »

Greetings,

I am seeking the simplest way to automatically type a few passwords by pressing buttons on a USB dongle.

I would like to add a few tiny buttons to the Trinket M0 or something similar with each set to type a different password.

Can this be done? Has it been done? I would be surprised if it has not. I searched but did not find such a project.

Help

Thank you. Those look useful. Now, I know it can be done.

I just need to find a way to a a few of these tiny buttons without making it much bigger.

Maybe I could but the button on the other side.

What would be perfect is a Trinket the size of the Neo Trinkey with six button in place of the four LEDs and two capacitive touch pads.

As a bystander spitballing an idea... a Circuit Playground Express is pretty small with seven capacitive touch pads and two tactile buttons, and a similar project lives in the learning system. Just a thought.

Hallelujah!
