Trinket schematics

Post by ttu_don »

I could use some guidance, please.

I see the Trinket schematics posted in the Adafruit github site

but when I click on a brd or sch file, all I see is what looks like an xml file showing layers, wires, holes, etc.

I use Eagle & Altium for PCB design, so how do I get this into either of those programs.....?

Have you tried loading them from within Eagle?

So I right-click on the link in github, save as.... then open it in Eagle?

That seems reasonable.

Nope. That doesn't work.....

Eagle doesn't recognize .sch or .brd files

Altium will open the .sch file, but all that shows up is a blank schematic...... It does not recognize a .brd file.

Any other suggestions?

It's for the Trinket so it might be for a very old version of Eagle with a currently unsupported format.
