Unable to get to bootloader

Post by senthil1409 »

Hello, I have a problem with the trinket I ordered. Unfortunately It does not enter the bootloader mode. This is the very first try with the trinket.

I reflashed the bootloader successfully, but still cant the trinket to enter bootloader mode.

I also see the following error in dmesg

[251499.233773] usb 2-5: new low speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address

Does anyone had a similar experience? How did you fix it?

Thanks!

For any one interested, Turn off your computer and disconnect the power supply and wait for a few minutes and restart. This fixed my problem.

I know this sounds dumb, but has worked for others as well. No clue why!

That goes under the heading of 'voodoo'. It's more common than you might think in electronics. ;-)

Glad to hear you have the Trinket working though. Happy hacking!
