Bluefruit nRF51 talking with Feather nRF52 Pro plug and play

I wonder, by studying these products whether the Bluefruit LE Friend (2479/2633) may talk directly (two-way) with Feather nRF52 Pro (3574) with no native Bluetooth or ARM tools needed? That I would have all I needed to connect them in my application? I do have a Adafruit Feather M0 Basic Proto ATSAMD21 Cortex M0 (2772) that I plan to use for a SW port.

In other words, I can just buy those boards and then get them up and running? The first with your command interface, the other via the Gatt Services? (Or alternatively described..?) I don't really want to buy any Nordic tool or a Segger box as I want the BLE path to be a no-fuzz path. (Even if I do see in the discussions here that this may be optimistic..)

This is the architecture I am discussing
