teeny weeny RF connector

by fishesfromtupperware on Tue Feb 18, 2020 3:38 pm

I'd like use an external antenna on my osmo pocket wifi module. I've found what looks like tiny rf plugs at the ends of the what appears to be antennas. A quick interweb search turned up an MHF4, but it looks too big. Are they standard or proprietary?

The blue circled areas are the terminals. The arrow is pointing to one that's missing from this version.

The last pic is a detail of a terminal.

After poking around a bit more I found this ;

https://www.i-pex.com/sites/default/fil ... SW18_E.pdf

Its a "1.8 x 1.8 mm excellent inspection connector <switch> for RF modules with on-board antennas". Appears to be more of a switched test probe port than a connector. When a probe is inserted, the antenna is switched out of the circuit. Great! Now if just gotta find a probe.
Do yall have a adapter cable similar to parts 851/852 thats smaller (MHF5?) with a male connector? Plug diameter is 1.2 (mm?)
