Adafruit momentary and Latching reciever / Fob

by MarkMroz on Mon Jul 13, 2020 10:21 am

I have a latching 4 channel receiver and key fob. I want to install a stand alone MOMENTARY receiver with its own remote to be used in the same space.
Will the two remotes interfere with each others receiver? I dont want the momentary receiver to activate when I use the latching receiver and vice versa. Do I need a different frequency or code when I order my momentary unit?
Thanks

All units are shipped with the code pins un-soldered, so they will all respond on the default address. You can select a code by soldering one or more pins to GND. Just be sure to do the same pins on both FOB and receiver module.

There is a thread on the topic here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=49697&p=342645

I read the linked thread and it looks like a great solution...the only question I have is regarding the receiver H,L and infinity on the remote?
The remote has marked the H,L and infinity but on the receiver it is not....Which side on the receiver chip is H and which is low?...Thank you again for the great support. i love these little projects.

If you look at the back of the receiver board, the 8 pins on the lower right are the address pins. There is a row of smaller pads below which are connected to ground (L) and a row above which are connected to 5v (H).
