Change UUID

Let me explain my use case:

- I'm trying to make a switch to Morse code to BLE HID keyboard. Its all working well.
- The user I'm working with wants to switch between Morse for text entry and iOS/Android system Scanning for switches. This is where the OS converts a key press to a on-screen mouse effectively. It works well but for text entry morse code is far faster.
- The problem is that a iOS device (and some Android devices it seems) - blocks out all keyboard keys other than the ones it sees for switch scanning. There is no "Escape" key to come out of scanning and into morse. The only way would be to effectively disconnect the Keyboard - and plug in a different keyboard
- What happens is the OS sees the UUID of the device and if scanning is on (and the keys are configured in the scanning option of the OS ) - it ignores all keys other than those it is looking for (e.g. Space and Enter keys). If you attach a device with a different UUID its fine.
- Changing Manufactuer Name/Device name doesnt do a thing. The OS sees the same keyboard attached

Apart from Google/Apple fixing this the only thing I can think of is changing the UUID on the fly. I see it IS in the Nordic SDK (https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic ... 7e5152163b - also see https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/nordic/s ... s-tutorial) - but its not available in the adafruit BLE library. Any suggestions??
