Bluefruit Connect App - Multiple UART question

by Ashfox on Sat Oct 10, 2020 3:00 pm

Hello, your help please...

Is it possible to use the Bluefruit Connect App to act as a UART bridge between two Peripheral boards (Feather M0 Bluefruit, nRF51)?
I just want to relay the Tx and Rx data between two boards, via an App as the controller, Rx -> Tx and Tx -> Rx.

In the Bluefruit Connect App, there is Multiple UART mode, but I cannot find any explanation of what this function does and how to use it.

If I cannot use the Bluefruit Connect App, any advice on how to build a simple android app to do this?

Thanks

Ashfox

Hey Ashfox - Sorry, there's no bridge functionality built into the app. The Multiple UART mode allows you two view UART data sent from multiple BLE peripherals, and send data out to one or all of those peripheral devices.

RE: Android development โ€“ The Bluefruit Connect Android repo would likely be a good starting point:
