Driving RF Remote Control from PIR sensor

by jezhumble on Sun Feb 28, 2021 9:28 pm

Hi there! I'm trying to make a basic DIY alarm system. I want to drive the 4-Button RF Remote Control Keyfob (pid: 1095) from the PIR (motion) sensor (pid: 189) but I've had no luck connecting the output of the PIR sensor to either of the contacts of one of the switches on the keyfob, or directly to the data pins on the PT2260 (despite the link on the keyfob, the IC on mine is a PT2260 not a PT2262).

Do you have the schematic for the keyfob available, or any thoughts on how to do this?

Thanks!

We do not manufacture these in-house and do not have the design files. But the schematics are probably pretty close to the reference design in the PT2262 chip datasheet here:
