Bluefruit LE UART Friend Data Format

by Electroguy1024 on Sat Apr 17, 2021 2:19 pm

Hello,

I'm looking to use the Bluefruit LE UART Friend with a project that uses a Texas Instruments DSP microprocessor. I'm starting to configure the UART module on the DSP chip, but I can't seem to find what data format the BLE Friend uses, for example, whether I should use a parity bit, stop bit, etc. My end goal is to use the BLE Friend in Data mode to transfer text between my phone and the DSP chip, and I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction!

Thanks a lot!

Did you read the adafruit tutorial? It should provide the required information! Without looking, your best bet is 115200 bps, n81 and probably hardware handshake.
