airlift without circuit python

I purchased several Adafruit AirLift - ESP32 WiFi Co-Processor Breakout boards.

The tutorial addresses circuit python.

Are there examples of using this board without circuit python?

I am hooked up SPI to a Teensy 4.1 and the 4.1 can either run a C++ ap or circuit python ap
but not both and I need the features of my C++ ap.
